About Tax Guide

About the office

Cross-border tax problems only resolve when the Korean rules and the other country’s rules are read together. Tax Guide handles tax for foreign nationals, foreign companies and overseas Koreans as one practice.

Tax Guide provides integrated tax consulting focused on foreign nationals and cross-border transactions — from audit defence through closure and liquidation, cross-border inheritance, gifts and transfers, to Korea–U.S. income tax filing. We verify the governing provisions in their original text before acting.

What we do

  • Audit defence, closure and liquidation, transfer pricing documentation and withholding corrections for foreign-invested companies
  • Inheritance and gift tax returns for non-residents, and review of which deductions apply — including the difference made by the decedent’s residency
  • Preliminary and final capital gains returns on Korean property for overseas Koreans and foreign nationals
  • Korean and U.S. income tax filing, computation of the foreign tax credit limit, and treaty analysis
  • Monthly bookkeeping, VAT and corporate tax returns, payroll and social insurance entitlement management
